Just a short while after the oft-rumored BlackBerry Priv was made official, it appears the company is already readying its second-ever Android phone. CrackBerry today has shared images of what it claims is the BlackBerry Vienna, an Android device with an always-accessible physical keyboard.

BlackBerry confirmed last week that it had a range of products still to come following the release of the Priv, and this appears to be one of them. The BlackBerry Vienna - believed to be a codename with the official name still unclear - ditches the slider keyboard found on the Priv in favor of a front-facing, always-present physical keyboard. The keyboard is very similar to the one on the Priv, just not hidden by a sliding mechanism.

Other details regarding the BlackBerry Vienna are unclear at this point, including launch information, specs, and pricing. The renders show four color variants of the device: silver, navy blue, dark gray/black, and red. On the back you can see a camera with flash, while there's also a front-facing shooter and physical navigation buttons directly below the display. The device houses its volume rocker on the right side and its power button on the left side.

BlackBerry's first venture into Android was the Priv and the device was met with mixed reviews from critics. Our own Dom Esposito stated in his review that he doubts "this will be the phone that saves BlackBerry, but at least they didn't go down without a fight." Perhaps the Vienna will be the device to save BlackBerry instead. In the meantime, check out Cam's article on how to get the BlackBerry Priv look and feel on any Android device.
